Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to come to you, or will you come to me for our meetings?
"Friend" always goes to the bride. Your time is precious, and you don't need to travel to meet me. I will come to your home, your work, your venue(s), or a cozy eatery/lounge near you. My goal is to reduce your stress, remember?!

Can I design my own package?
Absolutely! We would talk over the phone or via email to determine your specific concerns, then create your package.

What are your fees?
The fees are dependent on the service(s) provided. As stated in the first question above, it is best to contact me so we can determine exactly what your needs are or might be. I am very fair, and whatever I do will definitely lessen your stress! A simple, one-time service can be as low as $50. Consultation-only is usually $125 - $200, and "day of" services typically range from $100 - $300.

What if I purchase a lower-priced package and later wish to add services equaling a higher-priced package?
You can do that at anytime; however, upgrading is only possible if the services are available.

What are some additional services that can be requested?
While many of the "extra" services may be part of the original contract, other services can include: picking up items for the rehearsal/ceremony/reception, decorating the venue, addressing envelopes, taking informal photos of all guests, planning/helping with do-it-yourself dinners, providing pre-rehearsal or pre/post-ceremony refreshments, meeting with the officiant or vendors, graphic designs, story-book/ethnic book programs, instrumental or vocal musicians, home-style or professional videographers, make-up and nail specialists, etc.

How far in advance should a package be booked?
Needless to say, the sooner the better. That way you’ll know if all services can be provided. Some couples begin an extensive package a year or more in advance, while others may make a last minute “cry for help” for the same full package! There are couples who know they only want assistance at the ceremony, but will contract for those services when they begin making their long-term plans. Brides will call a few weeks before the wedding because they realize they do need help with some things. I have also helped others who have run into a problem mid-way and needed a one-time meeting to resolve it.
